Who we are
From an early age, Debbie and Kay had a passion for travel and spent many years travelling with family, friends, and work. Both started off their career in the leisure travel industry before Kay made the transition to corporate business travel working in the City of London.
Within a few years, she moved to a high-profile banking account to look after the Roadshow, Events and VIP clients. Debbie’s career took a slightly different path – she worked for a large commercial airline, luxury travel business before making the transition to corporate business travel and laterally events where she has spent the last 19 years project managing events for an agency and a few years at a top tier global law firm.
It was in 2014 that Kay and Debbie decided to start their own business. Jumping into the unknown and not sure where the road would take them was extremely daunting, however it wasn’t long before Event Bookers was a successful business with regular clients booking overseas events and global tour logistics.
The challenges they encountered over the years have made them more process-driven, resilient, and tenacious. Running an events and travel business during a global pandemic was no easy task, however after safely making it to the other side, they are extremely grateful to the clients that continually put their faith in them to deliver successful event programs and global tour logistics.
